I purposely held off posting about National Child Abuse Prevention Month in April, its annual proclaimed month. There are always a slew of posts, which is great for awareness, but I always wonder how effective this is for the rest of the year.
My most-repinned pin on Pinterest is a graphic which provides a basic list of signs and symptoms of child abuse and neglect. If you click on it below, it takes you to a much larger, and easier to read, version. Or, if the graphic is not showing via email, you can go straight to it here. It’s something everyone should keep in a handy reference file, because you never know when a child might desperately need help.
Below is a sampling of my Child Abuse Prevention board on Pinterest, which currently holds 74 pins. You can get there by clicking on the Pinterest button at the bottom of the graphic. [If the graphic is not displaying by email, you can visit my Child Abuse Prevention board here.]
Let’s never lose sight of the fact that every day is child abuse prevention day.
